A Quick Saturday Project

I've had this fabric sitting around for quite some time. It was a remnant purchase, and a very small remnant at that. I was determined to make something with it, so this morning I put together my first "designed by me" skirt.

After reading lots of patterns and experimenting a little on my own, I was able to come up with something simple and quick for a skinny little girl. The fabric was rather thin, so I quickly determined this skirt would need a lining. Thankfully I already had some solid brown fabric that would go nicely with this print.

I think it turned out quite nicely. And the little gal who will wear it thinks so too!
